BASIC CHECK-OVER - £50

Suitable for bikes that are in a very good state of repair and only need a check-over. Not suitable for bikes that require any level of cleaning.

• Wipe down frame and inspect cycle (we will advise if extra work is needed)
• Inspect frame and forks for damage and wear.
• Safety check (check nuts and bolts and moving parts).
• Gears checked, tuned and re-aligned (front and rear).
• Check condition of headset.
• Brake calipers inspected and brake pads replaced (includes check inner brake cable).
• Oil chain and check wear and condition (replaced if drivetrain does not require degreasing and cleaning).

GENERAL SERVICE - £100

Recommended every 3 to 6 months for those who ride regularly, dependent on the time of year and conditions ridden in.

• Wipe down frame, forks and inspect cycle.
• Check all bolts, handlebar and stem assembly. Tighten all bolts to the recommended torque setting.
• Gears checked, tuned and re-aligned (front and rear).
• Brakes checked, tuned and re-aligned (front and rear).
• Brake calipers inspected and brake pads replaced (includes check inner brake cable).
• Drivetrain removed, de-greased, serviced and refitted including chainset, bottom bracket, chain, cassette, derailleurs and pedals (parts replaced if worn).
• Wheels trued and loose, missing or damaged spokes replaced.
• Headset inspected and re-greased.
• Wheel hubs inspected and re-greased.

FULL SERVICE - £150

Recommended every 12 to 18 months for riders who use their bicycles frequently or ride long distances in all weathers.

• Bicycle stripped of all parts, cleaned, inspected throughout, checked for damage.
• Check all bolts, handlebar and stem assembly. Tighten all bolts to the recommended torque setting.
• Gears checked, tuned and re-aligned (front and rear).
• Brakes checked, tuned and re-aligned (front and rear).
• Brake calipers inspected and brake pads replaced (includes check inner brake cable).
• Drivetrain removed, de-greased, serviced and refitted including chainset, bottom bracket, chain, cassette, derailleurs and pedals (parts replaced if worn).
• Handlebars cleaned back, cabling checked and refitted (includes inner and outer cables).
• Wheel hubs stripped, serviced and re-greased.
• Headset stripped, serviced, surface faced (if required) and re-greased.
